This phase would involve preparation and submission of a “BASIS OF DESIGN DOCUMENT” for approval to Client. This stage shall consist of preparation and finalization of following document/ deliverables.

- Draw out list of Process equipment.
- Room data sheet specifying technical requirements of all the rooms i.e. Civil, HVAC, Modular, Electrical, Utilities, Etc.
- Plan layout with define All type of Room partition, Ceiling, windows, doors with type and sizes
- Developing conceptual layout with following basic engineering details.
- Civil finishes
- Cleanroom partition finishes
- Prepare Utility consumption including peak load, daily flow, spare capacity for future, etc for all utilities required in the plant.
- Prepare list of required Utilities such as clean compressed air, Purified water system, waste water system chilled water, electrical power.. etc
- Design parameter of all Utilities.
- Preliminary Pipe line route.
- Electrical basic load estimate for building.
- Develop lux zoning, Power zoning, Power Distribution philosophy
- Light fixture zoning cleanroom & non Cleanroom lighting.
- Prepare concept note giving details of the entire system and design HVAC system complying with requirements.
- Define room area classification, AHU grouping and Temperature and RH requirements, equipment heat load, occupancy, cleanliness classification and required ACPH.
- Typical airflow diagram showing all filtration level with EMS.
- AHU Zoning, Pressure Gradient, Zone Classification.
